Brook Dyer joins Catalyst Intellectual Property

We are very pleased to welcome Brook Dyer to Catalyst Intellectual Property. Brook joins our team as an Associate in Auckland.


Brook is a patent attorney registered to practice in both New Zealand and Australia. His focus is on innovation in the engineering and high-tech space. He has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent and design applications across a broad range of technical areas, including digital electronics, medical devices, robotics, embedded systems, signal processing, and a variety of software related fields.


Prior to joining Catalyst Intellectual Property, Brook worked for another New Zealand IP firm, where he acted for a range of clients, including multi-nationals, start-ups, universities and research institutes. He has a BE(Hons) (Computer Systems Engineering) and a BCom from the University of Auckland, and is close to completing a law degree.
