Catalyst Intellectual Property Wins Patents Award

The annual Asia IP awards were announced recently and we are very proud to have been named the 2019 New Zealand Firm of the Year for Patents.

An awards dinner was held in Taipei, timed to precede the annual Asian Patent Attorneys Association conference. Managing Partner Greg Lynch was on-hand at the dinner to receive the trophy. Greg commented that the award is recognition of the work the team at Catalyst Intellectual Property has put in since the firm started in 2012 and the reputations its attorneys have within New Zealand businesses and research organisations.

A press release from Asia IP noted that “The awards named top trademarks, patents and copyright practices as determined by in-house counsel from Asia, Europe and the Americas. More than 5,000 in-house counsel were polled by Asia IP magazine throughout the first part of 2019.”
